What an amazing New American rustic restaurant in the middle of the Theater District in Chicago. Service was great from the time you enter to being seated and paying. Our server was very professional, helpful and attentive. I believe his name was Carson. The GM came to our table and engaged for several minutes, offering coffee refills etc, great gentleman and classy service. Tried brunch and it was absolutely delicious. Def going again next time I'm in town.

We came here to celebrate a special occasion, and they treated us to free champagne. The service was superb, and the whole restaurant had a classy ambiance. I recommend making a reservation just in case. We ordered the Midwest fried chicken and the Dearborn burger. The fried chicken was crispy, flavorful with its buttermilk and maple-mustard glaze, and had a slight heat from the hot sauce--definitely a must-try. The burger was easily one of my favorites, and I've had a lot of burgers. I ordered it medium rare, and the meat just melted in my mouth. The quality of the meat, along with the Wisconsin cheddar and special sauce, made it incredibly delicious.

It's hard to know where to begin with our fantastic experience. The ambience of the restaurant is fantastic. It's like an intersection of warm and cozy with upscale and modern. Post the indoor and outdoor seating options are fantastic, but we loved our seat inside but near the patio; it was best of both worlds. Our food was delicious. The pizza was savory and full of flavor. I loved the fish and chips and my wife enjoyed the Amish curry chicken in a clay pot. It was all fantastic. I could tell they had a great chef in the kitchen. The drinks were also great. A full draft menu plus a lot of creative and tasty cocktails. The bartenders were awesome and I like that they were dressed to impress. The final star of the show was the service. Our server was as good as you can get. She knew every dish inside and out. She made fantastic recommendations that helped us enjoy our meal even more. Afterwards, we got to meet the manager at our table. He was a great guy and our fantastic experience all made sense. He was passionate about his job and showed good leadership throughout the night. This place gets five stars for me. Everything was right on the mark. Well done.

I'm giving a 5 star for my cheerful server, Melissa. Thank you Melissa for making my experience so wonderful despite the fact that the hostess sat me by the bathroom. I would normally ask to be seated elsewhere but I was exhausted and hungry which are two bad combinations for me. I was meant to sit at this table because your energy was so positive and uplifting that it actually lifted me up. Thank you! I had the Mezze and it was delicious and the pita bread was outstanding. I was too hungry to take a picture. Also, a big thank you to the manager, Gregory, who stopped at my table to see how everything was going and to welcome me. He also very politely and patiently listened to me letting him know that I was not thrilled to be seated so close to the bathroom.

Tried to get a reservation, but none were available. Walked in and were offered a table for an hour after a matinee at the Cadillac Palace, so we opted for drinks and a snack. Service was excellent, the Parmesan truffle fries were so good we were tempted when our waitress offered us a refill, though she meant another round of drinks. Hope to return and have a meal as all the food looked delicious. Love the decor and ambiance and would've stayed longer, if we had the option!

I have been coming here for years and it never disappoints. Tonight we were seated in a corner booth, which was fabulous. Our server, Patrick, was very good. We started sharing two appetizers, the burrata and the prosciutto and white cheddar croquettes. Both were very good. I had the specialty burger of the month for my entree, which was great. The burgers come with fries, which are also great. Somehow I managed to have a few bites of dessert, which was some kind of chocolate cake and ice cream that was good. I washed it all down with a few refreshing glasses of pinot noir. The value was very good for what we had. I keep coming back again and again.

Cool spot in the middle of the city. Was recommended to me by my cousin who used to live here. I like that we only had a 5 minute wait for a Saturday night without reservations. We ordered the Meza plate, which was delicious but I do wish they gave more bread with it. I got their famous fish and chips (which they are known for) and it was pretty good!! My boyfriend got the steak and he liked it but it was small. Our waiter was nice, but didn't bring us water for a while at the end. Overall, cool spot to try!

Holy Moses, what a delicious place. Not too difficult to get to. Being able to park close is a huge bonus for me. To me this place felt high end, and was prepared to pay that, and what the menu price was for lunch (that was super filling), quite reasonable! Next time I'm in Chicago, this is a place I will love to revisit as it left a party in all our mouths! I'm not a drinker, however, it looks like the drink selection is exceptional. Did not leave disappointed and looking forward to visiting again. Thank you so much for being hospitable and caring how our visit was.

Had a reservation for Valentine's day and it was a really welcoming environment. It's really nice inside I do appreciate the low lighting but it's where you can still see unlike at Cheesecake where it's really dark. Drinks: Guinness 10/10, POMEGRANATE-ANISE SPRITZ 10/10 Food: 8oz Filet Mignon 7/10, the filet itself could use some work. There wasn't much of a outstanding flavor and if I'm paying for that cut I'd prefer a bit more flavor. The mash was just okay. Fish and Chips 10/10 they were definitely winning I could see why. Fish was falling apart when cutting into it, so good. The tartar sauce was good with it and the lemon. Fries were super crispy and the coleslaw was good as well. Overall really nice restaurant

The Dearborn was one of the places I picked for us to have lunch while on our staycation. So glad I did because this was a wonderful lunch with wonderful service. We were promptly seated by our hostess and not long afterwards, our server came over to great us. She was very sweet and so pleasant, and just warm in personality. We had a reservation, which I am glad we did as the place filled up pretty quick after we got seated. Because we had a later dinner planned, we started with the Ceviche: cod, salmon, shrimp, fennel, orange, tomato, cilantro, coriander-lime dressing, crispy tortilla and the Parker House Rolls....most excellent starters. Those rolls with that duck fat butter was yum yum yum. The ceviche was nice and fresh, with that citrus twang I love. To wash it down, we opted for the 1818 Billecart-Salmon Mareuil-Sur-ay. Sometimes you want a true champagne instead of bubbles during day drinking. For our entrees, I got the Fish & Chips (as seen on Beat Bobby Flay): tempura-battered Icelandic cod, rainbow slaw, remoulade, charred lemon, fries, malt vinegar. I will not lie, I am not a fan of Bobby Flay or fish per se, but seeing this was a dish that beat him, I wanted to try it. I will have to say that I can see why it won. The tempura batter was perfect as it didn't mask the flavor of the fish or make it a heavy dish. The piece of fish was a nice side and was so flaky. The malted vinegar is a must for me on the occasion I do fish & chips and The Dearborn did not disappoint. The cole slaw was interesting, but good. It was more tangy than sweet and complemented the fish. Normally I don't care for this style of cole slaw, but this was fresh and tasty. The Doctor got the Spicy Chicken & Mushroom Soup: spicy chicken broth, sesame, napa cabbage, four star mushroom medley, pulled chicken, nueske's bacon, scallio. He said it did have some heat. Because we ordered the rolls with the ceviche, we did not eat the tortilla chips that came with it. Good thing we didn't because the The Doctor ended up putting them in his soup. He really enjoyed the soups and the chips, cleaning his bowl. We didn't do dessert, but that can be explored another time as I am sure we will be back here to try other items on the menu. A good time was had by all.
